Key Features
For the last six years, The Brook Hospital – Dupont has been providing clinical care for the men and women and their families who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.
Our clinical team recognizes that military personnel and veterans face multiple readjustment issues after serving in active combat situations. These issues can include PTSD, depression, traumatic brain injury, substance abuse, grief, anger and survivors’ guilt.
We are honored, as treatment providers, to have developed a therapeutic relationship with the men and women who have served our country and hope that, during their state of crisis, we can intervene and begin the work on building a foundation of healing and recovery.
Providing the Courage to Heal
Our professionals help individuals and families understand and accept their illness. The treatment team offers the support and motivation needed to enter the recovery process. We help overcome the stigma attached to those suffering from mental illness and chemical dependency. A sense of hope and confidence is restored in the lives of others through counseling, education and therapeutic groups.
